…through the lens of Rich Shelby

Main Gallery, August 10 – October 5, 2013

About the Show

Rich Shelby – photographer, mathematician, and master marble maker – is a resident of Riverside. His photography is currently featured on the National Geographic website and SPACE Pomona is honored to show his work. Rich has a special knack not only for capturing up-close and personal photographic images of animals, but also for chronicling the interactions between them. Rich’s photographs range in subject from the piercing look of a gloriously detailed baboon to the story of a stallion who becomes separated from his pack and searches desperately for a way to rejoin them.

Exhibition curated by Christina Franco Long and Rocio Medina.

Exhibition photographs by Jennilee Kinnunen Phillips.
