About the Show
The Art and Altruism of Pachi Tamer presents portraits from artist Pachi Tamer. Pachi has a one dollar dream, and that is to make one dream come true for each homeless person he meets. A bicycle for a man with a disfigured face, rehab for another. Another just wants to go to Oktoberfest!
Pachi embeds himself with the homeless in and out of the U.S. and gives each person a dollar to be photographed. His stunning portraiture has begun to garner national attention. Pachi says, “We are so busy looking past them…that we don’t see their souls.”
Pachi gives each homeless person a donation and is collecting one dollar at a time on his site:
