Closing and Opening Exhibitions

This week is your last opportunity to view and purchase work by Malia James of Dum Dum Girls and Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs at SPACE Pomona. Photographs by these artist-musicians are highly collectible and currently very affordable, priced specifically to make them accessible to as many art collectors and music lovers as possible. Everywhere and Nowhere in Between will close this Saturday, February 1.
Next week, the gallery will be closed while we install our next exhibition, showcasing recent work by L.A. artist Benjamin Alejandro. The Trouble Is You Think You Have Time will open during February’s Second Saturday Art Walk on February 8 with an artist reception from 6-10 PM. We’d love to see you there!

Thanks to everyone who came out to Pomona Saturday night for the opening of Everywhere and Nowhere in Between, a joint exhibition of photographs by Malia James of Dum Dum Girls and Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The photographs included in the exhibition are signed and numbered limited editions of 3, priced to make them accessible to as many art collectors and music lovers as possible. All works will be on view and available to purchase at the gallery through February 1, 2014.

Happy Holidays, SPACE cadets!
SPACE is currently closed for Christmas, but will be open on Friday, December 27 and on Saturday, December 28 for Art Walk in the Colony. The gallery will close its doors again for New Year’s on December 31 and January 1, and return to regular hours on Thursday, January 2.
We invite our fellow art and music lovers to join us in the new year for Everywhere and Nowhere in Between, an exhibition of photography by Malia James of Dum Dum Girls and Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The show will open during Art Walk on Saturday, January 11, 2014.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Holiday Party on Saturday; we had a blast! Images from our backSPACE photo booth will be posted on the gallery’s Facebook page within the next week.
SPACE Pomona’s current exhibitions, Between | Among and One Language is Not Enough, will remain on view at the gallery through the end of the year.
Coming up next is our first exhibition of 2014, featuring photography by Malia James of Dum Dum Girls and Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs(!). The show will open with an artist reception during Art Walk on Saturday, January 11. This is one you don’t want to miss!
